Are you a calm, confident presence in the room? Can you build trust with young people and help them regulate, re-focus, and re-engage?

Mindlynk Ltd is partnering with a dynamic secondary school in East London to recruit a proactive and reliable Behaviour Mentor for the new academic year. This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a high-impact pastoral team that’s truly changing lives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support students with behavioural, emotional, and social needs
  • Lead 1:1 and small group mentoring sessions
  • Help de-escalate conflict and promote emotional regulation
  • Work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to support individual student plans
  • Act as a role model, motivator, and consistent adult presence in school

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people in schools, youth work, PRUs, or SEMH settings
  • Calm, assertive, and emotionally intelligent
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • A team player with initiative, reliability, and a solutions-focused attitude
  • Must have two references from UK settings
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
