Business Director
Strategy & Planning Consultancy | London | Hybrid Working
In 2017, a new kind of strategic consultancy launched with one clear mission: to put brilliant communications thinking back at the heart of marketing. Since then, it has built a reputation for work that not only delivers creative standout but also sharp commercial outcomes. Sitting at the intersection of creative ambition and media strategy, this business exists to solve problems that matter, and do it with clarity, pace, and purpose.
Now, as the business continues to grow, there’s an opportunity for a Business Director to join the team. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on shaping comms strategy, managing senior client relationships, and leading a small, high-performing team. You need two things, confidence & competence.
You’ll be the strategic lead across a portfolio of ambitious clients, responsible for setting the agenda, navigating complexity, and unlocking opportunities through smart communications planning. You’ll need to bring deep experience in brand and channel strategy, understanding how to frame business challenges, define comms roles, and translate that thinking into bold, effective plans.
This role also carries leadership responsibility. You’ll be managing a small team of planners, providing mentorship, structure and support to help them grow while ensuring high standards of thinking and delivery. Internally, you\’ll work closely with the senior leadership team to shape the agency’s direction and contribute to new business efforts when needed.
This is not a traditional agency setup. There are no legacy layers, no production silos, and no rigid hierarchies. Planning leads every project, and senior people stay close to the work. You’ll be joining a company that’s deliberately lean, creatively curious, and values-driven, with a culture that rewards collaboration, generosity, and smart thinking over ego.
If you’re a senior planner or business lead looking to step into a role where you’ll have real influence on clients, on talent, and on the strategic product, this could be the opportunity to make your mark.
