This contract role will play a key part in shaping and optimising customer journeys across current accounts and overdraft products. You'll lead the review of existing processes, map journeys end-to-end and collaborate with compliance, risk and operations teams to re-engineer where needed.

- Act as the product/solution owner for current account and overdraft journeys
- Map and assess existing customer journeys, identifying friction points and improvement opportunities
- Lead process re-engineering initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
- Ensure all changes meet regulatory and compliance standards
- Work closely with internal controls, risk, and legal teams to identify and address potential compliance gaps
- Define and oversee product-level controls and governance structures
- Collaborate across technology, design, and operational teams to drive delivery
Requirements
- 3-4+ years' experience as a Product Owner or Solution Owner in banking or financial services
- Strong understanding of current accounts and overdraft products
- Proven experience in process mapping, process redesign, and journey optimisation
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in a retail banking context
- Comfortable working in cross-functional delivery environments with matrix stakeholders
- Delivery-focused, structured, and commercially aware
Benefits
3-month contract, paying in the region of £500 – £700 per day outside ir35.
