We have an excellent relationship with this business and we successfully placed another professional with them earlier this year as they continue to grow organically.
This house builder is well known for its quality product, excellent reputation and financial stability. With a strong pipeline of work and several active sites already underway across the West Midlands.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the Quantity Surveyor will take responsibility for managing the commercial aspects of 2 sites at one time, ensuring delivery within budget and in line with company standards with support from the Commercial Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a steady and reliable presence as a “safe pair of hands” within the commercial team.
- Oversee financial management and control.
- Prepare and manage subcontractor packages, valuations, variations, and payments.
- Work closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure smooth project delivery of your sites.
- Play a key role in maintaining and strengthening the reputation of the business.
About You:
- Experienced commercial professional from a house building or residential contractor background.
- Currently operating as an Assistant, Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- Commercially astute with strong financial management and cost-control skills.
- Reliable and committed to a long-term role within a stable and growing business.
- Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Offering a competitive salary dependent on experience, c£50,000 – £65,000 plus package and bonus. You will be joining a financially stable, well-funded business with an excellent reputation. There is long term career potential with this house builder that values quality and loyalty.
