SHEQ Co-ordinator
Location: Flexible with UK Location – Coventry HQ
Contract type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: 30,000 – 35,000 dependant on experience
Working hours: 40 hours per week between 0830 – 1700

About the role

Due to the continued growth of the company and internal promotion, we are seeking a SHEQ Coordinator to support our SHEQ Team. Given the geographical spread of the company\’s activity, the role location is flexible however it will include a requirement to travel to our Coventry Head Office on a monthly basis and may include an occasional need to visit our operational locations across the UK. A desk will be available at our Coventry Head Office if office working is preferred.

What We\’re Looking For

You will have worked in a similar SHEQ role and ideally have knowledge and experience of the sectors in which idverde operates. Given the range of activities and the geographic locations of the sites, you must be flexible, possess a can-do attitude and be prepared to get involved in making things happen. The successful candidate will be comfortable working within a dynamic team, supporting the SHEQ Business Partners in providing competent and sound SHEQ advice to operational colleagues.

Role Responsibilities

The role will include, but not be limited to, assisting with:

Creation and Review of Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments & Method Statements

Supporting Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001) & internal audit and inspection programmes.

Subcontractor review, assessment & approval

Coordination of idverde\’s Health Surveillance Programme and tracking the return of safety information

Monitoring active incidents / accidents

Supporting the use of the company\’s SHEQ Management system: EcoOnline

Creation of Toolbox Talks and other SHEQ Training programmes

Requirements

A recognised Health and Safety Qualification – IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH General Certificate or similar.

Experience of working with ISO management systems, including up to date knowledge of the standards

A recognised auditing qualification in Quality, Health and Safety or Environmental systems (IRCA, IEMA etc.)

Excellent IT skills

Good communication skills at all levels

Full UK Driving Licence (Desirable)
