Our client are a super friendly and creative marketing company based in the heart of St. Albans. Their office has a fun, modern style, and they’re a team of eight who work together like family. They need someone to help keep track of their finances and run a smooth office!
They’re looking for a responsible and trustworthy Bookkeeper/Accountant who loves numbers and knows how to use Xero. This is a full-time role where you’ll work from their office. You’ll help with important tasks like keeping financial records organised and making sure payments are on track.
Key Tasks:

Keep their sales and purchase records up-to-date in Xero.

Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards every month.

Send out invoices and help with credit control (following up on payments).

Process invoices and record supplier costs.

Create reports in Excel and work with their accountant to keep finances accurate.

Order office supplies and keep their space running smoothly.

Great experience with bookkeeping (especially using Xero).

Good with spreadsheets, organised, and a strong communicator.

Comfortable working with numbers and details.

Friendly, reliable, and able to keep information private.
£32000 – £37000/annum
