ABOUT THE ROLE
At M-Sport UK, we’re leaders in global motorsport – competing at the highest levels of rallying and delivering world-class engineering solutions. Our dedicated Transmissions Department is central to vehicle performance, and we’re looking for a Transmissions Technician to support the assembly, maintenance, and development of our competition gearboxes, differentials, and drivetrain systems.
As a Transmissions Technician, you’ll be responsible for the build, inspection, and servicing of complex transmission systems across our range of rally cars. You will work closely with engineers and other technical departments to ensure all components meet the highest standards of reliability and performance – both in the department and on events.
The role responsibilities include:

Assemble, service, and maintain gearboxes, differentials, and drivetrain components to tight tolerances.

Carry out strip-downs, inspections and rebuilds with a meticulous eye for detail.

Support the testing and logging of transmission components for reliability and wear analysis.

Work to build schedules and ensure all transmission units are ready for car installations or event dispatch.

Maintain accurate build records and report any faults or issues to Transmissions Supervisor and engineering teams.

Provide transmission support at tests and events as required, including international travel.
