Gap Personnel is recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of a leading manufacturer of cleaning products. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking company operating in an environmentally conscious and fast-paced production environment.
Role Purpose
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Production Operatives to join the manufacturing team. You will play a key role in the production and packaging process, ensuring products meet strict quality, safety, and environmental standards. This hands-on role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence across a rotating shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for mixing, blending, and packaging
- Monitor and control production processes to maintain quality
- Accurately complete batch records and documentation
- Perform in-process checks and basic quality control
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining production areas and equipment
- Report any faults or deviations to the Production Supervisor
- Follow company Health & Safety and GMP policies
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Work as part of a team on weekly rotating shifts:
- Week 1: 06:00 – 14:00 (Mon–Fri, 30-min unpaid break)
- Week 2: 13:45 – 22:00 (Mon–Thurs, 45-min unpaid break) and 12:00 – 20:00 on Friday
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Willing to work on a rotating shift pattern
- Experience in biotech, chemical, or FMCG environments is an advantage
