Are you passionate about engineering and skilled in pipefitting and welding? Join GSK Montrose as aPipefitter/Welderand play a key role in maintaining and installing pipework and associated fittings to ensure reliable plant operations that meet manufacturing plans and regulatory standards.

In this role you will

  • Work as part of a team to carry out plumbing and pipefitting tasks using various metals and plastics.
  • Weld pipelines, fabrications, and machinery to standards.
  • Fabricate, test, install, modify, and maintain domestic, engineering, and chemical processing pipework.
  • Install Lokring connectors and maintain glass pipework and associated fittings.
  • Use access equipment safely and work in various factory areas, often at heights or in confined spaces.
  • Record and document maintenance information via CMMS to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in developing apprentices by sharing knowledge and demonstrating skills.
  • Proactively solve problems and collaborate with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental (SHE) regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
