Teaching Assistant (Level 2 Permanent)

Parkfield Primary School is excited to offer a permanent opportunity for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our committed staff team from September 2025. This is a class-based role, supporting a teacher and class to ensure that all pupils make excellent progress in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
What will your role involve?
- Supporting the class teacher in the planning and delivery of engaging and differentiated learning activities.
- Delivering targeted interventions to individuals and small groups of pupils, particularly in reading, writing and maths, to help close gaps in learning and raise attainment.
- Assisting in the preparation of the classroom and learning resources to create an inclusive and stimulating environment.
- Observing and reporting on pupil progress to help inform next steps in learning.
- Supporting pupils at lunchtimes on the playground, promoting positive behaviour, play and social interaction.
- Promoting emotional well-being and a love of learning in all aspects of school life.
