We Build Recruitment are now looking to hire an Electrical Project Manager on behalf of our client, a leading specialist Mechanical and Electrical Engineering consultancy.
Main Responsibilities:
To ensure that all site operations are delivered in a safe manner, correctly using in-house processes and that the work is delivered it to an industry leading level.
Key Operational Duties:
- Management of your team of installation engineers to deliver an industry standard quality of installation.
- Delivering processes developed within the senior management team.
- Security and maintenance of all companyproperty involved with your projects.
- Creating and maintaining enthusiasm of the installation engineers on your projects
- Management of projects to monitor committed spend against quoted costs.
- Project specific Health and safety / legal compliance to include the creation of your project specificRAMS, accident reportingand ensuring all operative on your projects are qualified to undertake the works expected of them.
- Estimating and quoting variations to your projectsin a profitable manor
- Signing off supplier invoicesfor your projects
- Procuring materials and plant at the best possible price
- Procurement and contractual engagement of specialist subcontractors.
- Review and approval of sub-contractor applications and submission of payment notices.
- Project handover in line with companyprocesses – Compiling of O&M’s, H&Sfiles, client demonstrations, confirmation of practical completion. etc, etc.
- Attending team meetings, workshops and training sessionsas requested by the SMT.
Technical
- Ensure financial reporting of projects is provided to operations manager.
- Ensuring required project documentation is obtained where necessary to ensure legal and commercial responsibilities are met.
Discipline
- Developing and maintaining a high project morale.
- Maintaining good customer communications and relations.
- Ensuring company reputation.
- Mentoring site teams.
