We are looking for an enthusiastic Support Worker to join our fantastic teams based in Southport. We have 1 x 20-hour post available. It is an essential requirement that you hold a MANUAL driver\’s license.

Working hours will be on a rota basis, with shifts across weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and sleep-ins.

The shift timings are:

  • 10am – 10pm & 8am – 10pm
  • Sleep-in – 10pm – 7am

What does a Support Worker do?

As a Support Worker, you will provide outstanding support to help individuals live more comfortable, dignified, liberated, and happy lives. You should have excellent communication skills, a caring and patient personality. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Supporting independence – managing budgets, paying bills, housework, organizing appointments, and cooking healthy meals.
  • Communication and relationship building – supporting individuals to understand the world around them and fostering positive relationships.
  • Community & Social Inclusion – helping individuals access and participate in local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
  • Personal care – assisting with daily routines, medication, bathing, showering, and bathroom use. Not all roles involve high levels of personal care.

*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
