Your role:

  • Prepare, negotiate, and analyse budgets and costs
  • Procure and pre-qualify subcontractors while managing contracts and payments
  • Identify and manage commercial risks and contractual issues
  • Produce detailed monthly cost value reconciliation reports
  • Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering strong collaboration with site operations

What we need from you:

  • Degree qualified with civil engineering experience (the projects will mainly be on marine, ports, floods, defences)
  • Solid knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to sites across Scotland
