Location: Manchester South East (Denton)

Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 dependent on experience + performance-based bonuses

Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, plus on-call duties

About the Role:

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Care Manager to join a new care service in Manchester South East . This is a hands-on role that will shape the future of the business, from CQC registration to staff recruitment and business development.

You\’ll have the autonomy to lead, manage, and ensure high-quality care, all while helping the business grow from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead CQC registration and maintain compliance.
  • Develop and implement care standards and policies .
  • Build relationships with local healthcare professionals, GPs, and organizations.
  • Recruit and train care staff to build a strong, motivated team.
  • Oversee and ensure high-quality care services .
  • Network to grow the client base and drive referrals.
  • Take ownership of business development and meet targets for growth.
  • Lead by example—deliver care services and oversee operations.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have Registered Care Manager experience with strong CQC knowledge .
  • Hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 5 preferred or actively working towards it).
  • Be hands-on and proactive, willing to get involved with care and staff recruitment.
  • Have a proven ability to develop and manage a domiciliary care team , ensuring they are motivated and well-trained.
  • Have a full UK driving licence + car .
  • Experience in business development within the care sector is essential; the ability to network and build relationships will be key to success.
  • Be based locally (within a 30-minute radius of Manchester south east (Denton)).
  • Have a strong work ethic , a positive attitude, and a people-first mindset. The ideal candidate will have a mature and thoughtful approach to leadership, with an ability to read people and adapt accordingly.
