About the role
Join Activ’s expert team of behaviour support and allied health professionals delivering person-centred, value-driven services across WA.
As a new Pre-Core/Core Behaviour Support Practitioner, you’ll work in a flexible hybrid model and receive ongoing support from experienced Proficient and Advanced Practitioners. We’ll also guide you through your NDIS registration process.
A typical day may include:
Conducting person-centred behavioural assessments tailored to individual needs.
Developing and implementing behaviour support plans aligned with NDIS standards.
Training and supporting families, staff, and stakeholders on behaviour and safety plans.
Communicating regularly with managers and the wider Activ team.
Meeting team KPIs while delivering high-quality services.
The ideal candidate will have:
A relevant tertiary qualification such as Nursing, Psychology, Special Education, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or other related health/community/human services areas.
Strong attention to detail and accurate report writing skills
A positive, contemporary attitude, and a commitment to maximise quality of life for people with disability.
