Please note: Higher end of the pay scale is inclusive of qualification enhancement, attendance bonus and 1 sleep-in per week at £44.56 each (Staff members may complete more than 1 sleep-in per week)
In partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council, Homes2Inspire are proud to open Minster House, a new residential home in Southwell, Nottinghamshire that will provide a safe and nurturing environment that ensures young people experiencing mental health challenges receive the care they need and deserve in a stable home.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will support the management team with directing roles and responsibilities to support workers and ensuring the monitoring of children and young people’s behaviour, safety, and well-being. The nature of the role varies in pace, and you will be working directly with vulnerable young people who have adverse backgrounds and require trauma-informed care.
Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships with others are vital! As a shift leader, the right candidate will be someone who leads by example, upholds standards, and ensures that the safeguarding of children and young people underpins all decisions made.

What you’ll bring:
- An understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable children and young people who have experienced trauma
- Minimum 1 years\’ experience working with children and young people
- QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare, NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care, BA Childhood and Youth Studies or equivalent (In line with Ofsted requirements)
- Experience of working with behaviours that challenge
- Availability to work on a shift rota system including weekends and bank holidays
- A full UK Driving Licence
