Overview

We are looking for a Sales Advisor to join our team at Vertu Mazda York. This role offers a competitive basic salary of £28,000, with an on-target earnings of £34,000, and the potential to earn well above this level. No previous experience is required.

We provide full training and a comprehensive onboarding program to help you succeed and maximise your earnings from day one. After 6 months you can transfer to be a Sales Executive, should you wish to, taking your on-target earnings to £45,000+ plus a Company Car.

You will work a 40-hour week (five 8-hour shifts), including most Saturdays (our busiest day) with a guaranteed day off during the week. We are closed on Sundays.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers through their entire car-buying journey: arranging test drives, helping with finance, and guiding them through accessories.
  • Ensure every customer has a fantastic experience and engage with customers online, in-store, on the phone, or by video.
  • Communicate effectively and confidently using technology as part of the sales process.

Qualifications

  • Full driving licence (manual and automatic).
  • Strong customer service skills; experience in retail, hospitality, or any customer service/sales field is welcome but not required.
