A role has been created following a restructure of the tax and broader finance team of this growing, global financial services group. You will have one direct report and take responsibility for direct tax for the UK. Specific responsibilities include: Responsibility for direct tax compliance and tax reporting obligations Maintain and enhance procedures and controls to comply with SAO provisions Advise on the tax implications of potential acquisitions, disposals, expansion and other business led projects Manage transfer pricing from a UK perspective This is a pivotal role in the team and they are looking for someone who wants to take ownership and push the boundaries of the role. Managing the compliance and reporting will be key but the successful candidate will be proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and how the tax function serves the UK business. You will need UK corporate tax experience, they are open to this being a first move in-house for someone operating at Manager / Senior Manager level, or someone already in-house looking to further their career.
