About Us
This is an ideal opportunity to join the largest generator specialist in the South West, whose head offices are based in Bristol. Good customer service skills are needed, as you will be liaising with both internal and external contacts throughout the site.
Key Tasks & Main Duties
- Working closely with other maintenance team members to carry out routine maintenance duties to buildings and outside areas across the depot network (includes hedge trimming, weeding etc), be prepared to work with nights away.
- Organising the storage of new hire fleet and sales equipment as and when required to ensure that the workshop areas are well organised and kept tidy.
- Moving and loading of equipment / liaising with yard staff as and when required to ensure equipment is dispatched by internal or external transport.
- Maintain all workshop and yard areas.
- Carry out various additional projects or tasks for all departments as and when required ie fleeting/labelling of equipment and attend environmental issues on customer sites.
- Comply with the company Health and Safety Policy Statement, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are kept tidy. This includes Company vehicles.
- Comply with all aspects of the Company’s Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001) and proactively contributing to the Company’s continuous improvement programme.
Skills And Experience Required
- General maintenance skills
- Full UK driving license
- Holder of current CSCS/CPCS/ECS card preferred
- Forklift Licence preferred
- MEWP Licences preferred
- Slinger – Banksman preferred
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work under their own initiative as well as part of a team. They must be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
