The role

We currently have a vacancy for a Multi Skilled Construction Development Coach to join our team. Our Coaches plan, prepare and teach a range of knowledge and skills to support learners to progress into a range of industries including Construction and the Built Environment. In addition, our Coaches support learners throughout their learning journey with vocational and employability skills, which include English, Maths, Digital and personal development.

You will deliver engaging and inspiring training and employment programmes that support young people and adults to achieve their fullest potential. Identifying and support learners with SEND through Study Programme, Adult Education and Apprenticeships. Our Construction programmes are delivered from our newly opened Construction Skills Centre and are focussed on developing our learners’ hands on skills and knowledge, be this though Woodwork, Plastering, Plumbing, tiling and more whilst working towards a Certificated qualification or as part of a longer Apprenticeship. Therefore, it is a requirement of this position that you have experience within the Construction Sector and are able to follow a curriculum plan which supports learners gain new skills in line with but not limited to the above with all age groups 16+.

  • You will have the ability to deliver engaging and inspiring training and employment programmes to young people and adults.
  • Qualifications and/or experience in Construction and the built environment
  • Have knowledge of apprenticeship programmes and schemes- Desirable
  • Teaching experience is preferable for this role
  • Enhanced DBS check required
