Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable assistant teacher to support our infant classroom. This role works closely with the lead teacher to provide gentle care and responsive interaction for our youngest learners, ages 6 weeks to 12 months.
Responsibilities
Assist with feedings, diaper changes, and soothing routines
Support daily activities and sensory play appropriate for infant development
Foster a safe, clean, and warm classroom environment
Help maintain detailed records of feeding, sleeping, and diaper schedules
Communicate warmly with parents about their baby’s day and milestones
Collaborate with lead teacher and team members to promote consistency and care
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Child Development coursework a plus)
Prior experience in infant care or early childhood education preferred
Patience, attention to detail, and ability to follow safety protocols
Strong team spirit and reliability
Must meet all state licensing and health requirements
