Role: Managing Director – Blockchain, Web3 & Crypto Business Unit
Location: US or Europe – fully remote with extensive travel
Comp: $450,000 – $500,000 + Token-based incentives aligned with ecosystem performance
Our client, a pioneering organisation at the forefront of blockchain, Web3, and crypto , is seeking an accomplished Managing Director to lead a core business unit and drive innovation, growth, and decentralisation across these rapidly evolving sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for engineering, research, and ecosystem development in blockchain, Web3, and crypto environments
- Develop and execute strategies for governance, protocol development, and decentralised adoption
- Represent the organization to the global blockchain, Web3, and crypto communities, as well as industry stakeholders
- Champion decentralisation, tokenomics, and community-led innovation
- Build strategic partnerships and drive engagement across the blockchain, Web3, and crypto landscape
- Oversee compliance with relevant crypto and blockchain regulations and best practices
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Hands-on experience as a software engineer or cryptographer, ideally within blockchain, Web3, or crypto projects.
- Proven leadership in transitioning from technical roles to business management, particularly in distributed, remote teams.
- Strong academic background in computer science, mathematics, or a related field
