Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for a SEND Caseworker C&I to join Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council on a fixed-term basis until July 2026.
The SEND Assessment and Reviews Team, part of the Education, Inclusion and Achievement Service, offers specialist advice and support to schools across Stockton Borough. The Communication and Interaction caseworker provides advice, guidance, and direct work with children and young people, working independently across various settings, often traveling between schools.
You will work closely with the C&I Specialist Teacher, developing tailored plans, providing interventions, and modeling approaches to support children with C&I needs. Your role involves managing a caseload, supporting schools, delivering staff CPD, and collaborating with other agencies to meet the needs of children and families.
