At CrossReach, we know that delivering high-quality care and support depends on having the right people in the right roles. That’s why we’re now looking for a Candidate Management Officer to join our recruitment team and help us make that happen.

We need someone who understands the importance of a positive candidate experience and wants to make a real difference in how applicants are supported throughout the recruitment process.

The primary focus of the candidate management officer will be to support both candidates and hiring managers throughout the onboarding process, ensuring it is as efficient, smooth, and effective as possible. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, positive, and supportive service to all new starters, helping them feel welcomed and prepared for their new role from day one. Your attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks will be essential in maintaining a seamless experience for everyone involved.

As part of this role, you will become one of our in-house experts on our applicant tracking system. You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve how we use the system, ensuring we maximise its functionality and leverage its full potential to enhance our processes and service delivery.

Although there are no direct line management responsibilities, you will take on a supervisory role, overseeing the day-to-day activities of the two Recruitment Assistants. Working closely with them, you will form a strong, collaborative team that is committed to delivering an excellent candidate experience and continually improving how we work.

To thrive in this position, you will need to have prior experience in the onboarding process, with a solid understanding of the safe recruitment checks required for new employees. A strong customer service ethic, along with a pragmatic, proactive, solution-focused mindset and a passion for continuous improvement, will be key to your success in this role.

This post in based in our Head Office, near Portobello, Edinburgh. We offer some home working, but will need to be in the office for 4 days a week for at least the first 6 months and 3 days thereafter.
