About the role
We are looking for an Administrator to join our Operations team in Alton, Hampshire . This is a process driven role that requires a high level of attention to detail, working in a busy, high-volume environment. As the Administrator you will be raising sales orders, placing purchase orders and relevant documents, and liaising with internal and external teams.
As the Order Processing Administrator, you will:
- Raise sales orders from quotes and placing purchase orders with our vendors
- Ensure all licenses, support, professional services, and training SKUs are receipted in and fulfilled out within required timeframes and all relevant documentation is forwarded to the necessary parties.
- Resolve any order queries/ issues ensuring minimal delay and impact on our clients.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with both internal & external clients
- Know when to progress issues up the chain of management to ensure a satisfactory and timely conclusion.
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Order Processing Administrator will:
- Previous administration or customer service experience
- Be proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel & Outlook) and have an excellent analytical and numerical skills with a good eye for detail.
- Be personable with strong and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Work well under pressure within a team and the ability to be able to prioritise with good time management
- Be willing to take on colleagues’ tasks when the need arises, and to provide cover during periods of absence or peak periods.
