We are collaborating with a well-established, dynamic and forward thinking travel company who are now on the hunt for an experienced Travel Sales Manager due to success and expansion, hybrid working model based in Leeds. This extraordinary travel company presents an extensive array of holiday experiences worldwide, catering to travelers with options ranging from luxurious tailor-made journeys to thrilling adventure packages. Ideal for an ambitious travel manager with a background within a tour operator or travel agent, this role promises not only career development but also the allure of a unique and distinctive professional opportunity. Travel Sales Manager Duties: * Managing consultants ensuring sales targets are met / exceeded through various channels including sales calls. * Lead by example and possess excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills. * Managing admin staff for invoicing, ticketing and customer correspondence. * Developing sales and marketing activities to generate new business from the local community including leaflets, adverts, brochures and attending events and fairs. * Marketing duties include developing a loyal customer base through various customer retention methods along with the creation of weekly email shots and the regular updating of social media pages. * Offer a service that is focused on selling through excellent use of product knowledge and matching customer needs and requirements. * Deliver sales targets by maximising profit and potential sales opportunities at all times whilst offering an exceptional and personalised service. Travel Sales Manager – Essential Requirements: * Previous travel management experience (manager or assistant manager) within a tour operator or retail travel sector with the ability to lead, motivate and inspire your team is essential. * Some marketing experience is ideal such as experience in social media and creation of email shots. * Able to deliver excellent customer service.
