Following inspection by a Test & Inspection Engineer, our electricians play a vital role in carrying out any required upgrades or repairs. The work is varied – from replacing a single breaker to upgrading multiple switches throughout a large industrial site – no two days are the same. The Role:
You will support the Maintenance & Repairs team, covering the Bath, Bristol, Taunton region. Work is planned in advance and managed through your dedicated works coordinator, ensuring you have the support you need and regular contact with both clients and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out electrical remedial works in commercial and industrial environments.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
Communicate effectively with clients: explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical advice.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
Take part in ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years\’ experience as a qualified electrician.
City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) in Inspection and Testing.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Strong understanding of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and relevant standards.
Experience with electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and manage your own time.
