Purpose of Role: As a Planner and Scheduler, you will assist the Lead Scheduler with daily duties, delivering and monitoring key performance activities in line with company goals and policies. You will be responsible for a variety of planning and scheduling tasks, optimising driver routes, ensuring maximum resource utilisation, and delivering exceptional customer service in accordance with divisional targets. The role also involves maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, welfare, and colleague engagement. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the Scheduling & Operations Management teams to ensure KPIs are met and to drive focus on key performance areas. Support the Lead Scheduler in daily operations, including dialing into operational rhythm calls, weekly reviews, and attending ad-hoc meetings. Schedule routes for service drivers within your assigned Operations Centers, ensuring full resource utilisation. Promote and communicate changes in working practices and company policies, ensuring staff are well informed. Assist with Customer Mobilisations and work with the Onboarding team to monitor progress, promptly resolving any customer issues.
