Contract Management / Procurement Specialist – IT Operations – Milton Keynes
A suitable candidate must be available to work onsite in Milton Keynes 2-3 days per week.
IT Commercial Contract Manager / Procurement Specialist required for our leading customer based in Milton Keynes. A suitable candidate is required to oversee tender activities, ensuring effective coordination to avoid unauthorised spending within IT Operations and IT Governance & Security Teams & manage/maintain and portfolio of IT operations contracts.
Key Skills & Responsibilities;
- Extensive background in IT contract management and knowledge of procurement processes and legal terms and conditions
- Commercial and operational focus of IT service contracts
- Ability to analyse and interpret commercial contracts, service-level agreements, and licensing terms.
- Proven experience collaborating with IT operations teams and familiarity with application support frameworks.
- Confident in overseeing multiple procurement exercises and tendering processes concurrently.
- Oversee a portfolio of IT contracts (support, licensing, services).
- Ensure compliance by reviewing SLAs, terms, and conditions.
- Lead procurement and tender processes (6-7 tenders at a time).
- Liaise with legal, procurement, and internal teams.
- Support contract drafting and negotiation.
- Track contract renewals, performance, and records
- Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills across all levels within the business
