We launched our first TRIBE Hotel into the London market in August 2022. Conceived for a new type of traveller, it’s all about the mix—bold and fun, with unapologetic modern design that blends mainstream style with bespoke pieces. We are looking for someone who is curious, caring, and positive, who will play a crucial part in curating the TRIBE experience by ensuring everything is seamless and functional for guests.
What you’ll do
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times, even when solving challenges.
- Manage arrival and departure processes for all guests, ensuring standard operating procedures are followed.
- Supervise the shift process to ensure all team members adhere to SOPs.
- Train, direct, coach, and resolve issues for the front desk team.
- Handle in-house guests’ requests and record all feedback according to SOPs.
- Cross-check billing instructions and ensure correct rates are applied as per selling strategy and website.
- Ensure telephone calls are answered quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure Accor All members are recognised and points added to their accounts.
- Report maintenance issues to the correct department and confirm work is completed.
- Maintain the integrity and presentation of public areas and back-of-house areas, addressing deficiencies promptly.
- Collaborate with other hotel teams and outsourced partners to maximise guest satisfaction.
- Take responsibility in the absence of the Night Manager.
- Keep the Reception desk clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Be a member of the hotel’s crisis and fire teams.
Qualifications
- Attitude-first approach: helpful, approachable, and confident in answering questions.
- Previous hotel (or similar) experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is valued.
- Desire to be yourself and contribute positively to the team and guests.
- Passion for hospitality—whether it’s a drink, a meal, an event, or a bed for the night.
- Ability to leave guests with a memorable experience and a positive impact on colleagues and the community.
- Lugless ego; collaborative, hands-on approach.
- Experience with Micros Fidelio Opera.
- Open to trying new things and doing things differently.
