About The Role
Location – This role is working within the Sussex area; however, you will be home-based.
Hours – 21 hours per week, with flexibility in contracted hours.

As a Dementia Adviser, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide support, information, and guidance to people with dementia and their carers; helping to maintain their independence, improve their well-being, and empower them to take control of their lives. The service is tailored to each individual’s circumstances and support needs.
This home-based role involves supporting clients via phone, video, letter, or email. You will also assist service users in accessing other services through signposting and referrals.
About you
- Ability to support people in maintaining independence, well-being, and control over their lives.
- Understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with it and their carers is advantageous, but experience with other diagnoses or support requirements will also be considered.
- Experience communicating with diverse populations, adapting approaches to ensure understanding.
- Effective networking and collaboration skills with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Good IT skills, experience with databases, and virtual meeting software (Teams / Zoom).
Interviews will take place the week commencing 11th August.
