At ABF Business Technology Services (BTS), we’re looking for an innovative and forward-thinking Product Manager to lead our Enterprise Productivity and Data & Analytics products. This is a unique opportunity to manage a growing portfolio of tools and services that support business transformation across our global operations, delivering secure, scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the delivery and development of BTS’s Enterprise Productivity and D&A product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic objectives
- Translate business challenges into scalable solutions by engaging with stakeholders, assessing requirements, and shaping product roadmaps
- Manage and mentor a team of in-house specialists, while directing third-party delivery partners to ensure quality and value
- Facilitate adoption of citizen development tools through BTS’s Empower programme, supporting the rollout of low-code/no-code solutions across the ABF group
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, with a focus on automation, optimisation, and enhanced user experience
- Collaborate closely with Architecture, Project Services, and Security teams to ensure that platforms are robust, secure, and future-fit
- Own the product lifecycle end-to-end, including business cases, budgets, design sign-offs, and service readiness
- Contribute to the wider BTS leadership community, helping shape the culture, capability, and strategic direction of the division
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in leading digital product teams or IT programmes, ideally within enterprise automation or data-led environments
- Track record of delivering solutions using automation platforms such as Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, BluePrism, or Mulesoft
- Solid understanding of application development technologies, preferably within the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g. Power Platform, Power BI, SQL, Access)
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure fundamentals, security principles, and change/release management best practice
- Effective communication and leadership abilities, capable of engaging stakeholders and directing cross-functional teams
- Demonstrable experience preparing business cases and managing budgets or vendor relationships
- The ability to think strategically while managing operational detail and to solve problems
- Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience in a relevant technical or business discipline
Location
Hybrid, a mix of office and homeworking. This role will be based at our Peterborough offices on the Lynchwood Business Park. The office has recently been renovated and along with a modern work environment has great public transport links, free onsite parking, free drink facilities, free lunch option each day and a great team culture.
