Role Overview
This is a trainee role to learn how to accurately produce print work in line with job specifications. Full training will be provided.
Primary Objectives
- Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department
- Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied
- QC to job requirements
- Maintain and process work according to the production schedule
- Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered
- Learn to problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department
- Learn to maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations
- Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy
- Learn to select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed

Shift pattern: Monday – Friday, 8 hour flexi shift
