This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career as an Apprentice Logistics Coordinator. Perenco’s apprenticeship training programme will allow you to gain valuable hands-on experience whilst attending college to gain a Level 3 Business Administration qualification.

Working within our Logistics team you will be responsible for providing logistics support to our UK offshore business across the Southern North Sea and our onshore gas terminals. You will develop close working relationships across our operations to support the effective delivery of this role. This position will have a focus on our offshore Walk to Work operations, marine operations and aviation operations.

Working hours are Monday to Friday with one release day per week to attend college. Whilst this is an office-based role in Norwich, you will be required to attend operational and safety visits to our marine vessels in Great Yarmouth. There may also be an opportunity in the future to travel offshore on occasion.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Support all planned and adhoc administrative tasks as required.
  • Maintaining and tracking of spreadsheets.
  • Recording and reporting of aviation and marine logistics data on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Administration of helideck inspection reports.
  • Regular Safety and Operations visits to marine vessels while in port.
  • Day to day management of KPI’s.
  • Wider logistics team support where required.
  • Managing and checking logistic Invoices.
  • Collating, Recording & Reporting of any incidents / investigations in conjunction with logistic operations.
  • Recognising opportunities for improvement in marine and aviation logistics.
  • Liaising and engaging with the wider business and external providers.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across Microsoft suite, specifically Word.
  • Solutions based with strong planning, organising and numeric skills, and an excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Applicants will need to be age 16 or over to join the apprenticeship scheme.
