As the designated Fire Officer on duty, you will help deliver unforgettable shows while ensuring the highest standards of safety. You will be responsible for keeping audiences, artists, and staff safe during events, from pre-show checks to live monitoring and emergency response.

What You\\\’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out pre-event fire and safety checks (exits, signage, equipment, high-risk areas).
  • Ensuring crowd management and evacuation plans are in place and followed.
  • Acting as Fire Marshal on duty, monitoring risks during shows, and responding when required.
  • Supporting the Duty Manager, security, and medical teams to ensure a safe environment for all.
  • Recording incidents and feeding back on improvements.

What We\\\’re Looking For

  • Essential: Fire Marshal training, IOSH Fire Safety for Managers, First Aid, and experience in venue or crowd safety.
  • Preferred: SIA Licence, evacuation chair training, and working knowledge of alarms, detection, and suppression systems.
  • Calm under pressure, decisive, and confident managing public safety in busy live environments.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during major events.
