We\’re currently working with a Local Authority based in the North-West , who are looking for a locum Property Lawyer to join the team on an initial 3-month contract.
The position is due to start immediately and the hourly rate is between £50 – £60 per hour , via an Umbrella company, subject to PQE.
The role can be conducted on a remote working basis, and previous Local Government experience will be essential for the role.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Handling a range of property law matters, including leases, licenses and sales and purchases of land, landlord and tenant matters, and disposals and acquisitions
- Supporting development projects including drafting and completing conditional agreements for lease
- Providing detailed advice in all areas of freehold and leasehold property law and to carry out research when necessary
- Experience of Academisations and CPO’s would be helpful
Experience required:
- Commercial Property Law
- Relevant Professional Qualification – Solicitor, Barrister, FCILEX
Working hours:
- Open to full-time and part-time options, minimum of 25 hours per week
- Monday – Friday
