The predicted salary is between 23809 - 26500 £ per year.

Location: Prudhoe (near Newcastle upon Tyne)

Hours of work: Full time (37.5 hours per week) with the option of overtime available. 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday with flexibility to work overtime when occasionally required.

Offer package: £12.21 per hour (which is £23,809.50 per year and negotiable depending on relevant experience), bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare, free breakfast and freshly cooked lunch from our on-site chef, 4% pension match and more (see below)

OpenWorks Engineering develop CUAS, Air Defence and Optical Surveillance, Sensing and Tracking Technology for Defence and Security.

We’ve developed an award winning and innovative drone capture and autonomous optical detection and tracking technology. The systems offer the capability to protect high profile assets, facilities, the public and VIPs from the threats posed by Aerial threats.

Main responsibilities:

We’re looking for a number of highly motivated Technicians to assemble and test complex electro-mechanical products.

As a Technician, you’ll:

  • Assemble and test intricate electro-mechanical camera systems in a clean room environment
  • Assemble projectiles
  • Pack nets
  • Pack parachutes
  • Re-build shot projectiles from testing and training
  • Join outdoor field testing
  • Assist with user training activities
