Health & Safety Consultant required for an established UK Health & Safety consultancy.

We are seeking a home-based Health and Safety Consultant, primarily covering East Midlands, with an ideal location near Cambridge, Peterborough, Northampton, and some flexibility for travel or overnight stays outside this area.

Job Title: Health & Safety Consultant

Package: A competitive package including a basic salary of circa £45k depending on experience and qualifications, potential commission, car allowance, pension, and other benefits.

Full-time, Permanent role

Start date: ASAP

Location: East Midlands, preferably near Cambridge, Peterborough, Northampton

Product: Health & Safety consultancy.

Job Description
You will work with clients across various sectors, providing health and safety advice to ensure compliance with UK legislation.

Requirements: Strong health and safety background, relevant experience, technical and professional qualifications, and knowledge of industry standards.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, identifying non-compliance, creating action plans, supporting clients, and developing safety management systems.

Qualifications & Experience: Chartered IOSH (CMIOSH), NEBOSH Diploma, ISO45001 lead auditor, IOSH trainer certification, Fire Qualifications (essential), Diploma (preferred). Minimum of NEBOSH General/NCRQ/NVQ Level 3 qualification, and at least two years of front-line health and safety experience.

Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships, support colleagues, and support business development.

Travel: Regular travel within the assigned area, with possible overnight stays.
