They are looking to add a Land Acquisition Manager to the UK development team who will play a crucial role in the origination of new projects, as well as progressing land consents through on existing projects. The ideal background for this role would be Land Managers already working in renewable energy, or Surveyors who have experience working on renewable energy projects.
Some key experience needed for this role:
> Experience working within the renewable energy sector and the constraints/considerations needed for land acquisition/management within the energy industry.
> A good track record in delivering on the commercial negotiations relating to land acquisitions – heads of terms, easements, option to lease agreements etc.
> Strong network of landowners/land agents, as well as being comfortable and confident engaging/managing rural & agricultural stakeholders.
In this role you would have the chance to work within one of the most stable players in the industry, while working alongside highly experienced colleagues in planning, development, grid, delivery, and construction teams. You can also rest assured that you would see your projects come to fruition, as this company has operational assets in the UK already.
