Business intelligence company, Global Business Reports (GBR), is looking for a talented writer, interviewer and researcher to produce high-quality business journalism. This is a hybrid work opportunity, with frequent international travel.
About Us
Global Business Reports (GBR) was established in 2001 to provide up to date and first-hand information for global business decision makers. We are a dynamic and truly global publishing company with a deep respect for people – both clients and colleagues – and we interact with daily with the leaders of the world\’s most prominent businesses to provide business intelligence reports covering industries including mining, energy, chemicals, life sciences and others all around the world.
About You
GBRs employees are well-educated, well-travelled, flexible and confident in any environment. Their professionalism, knowledge, cultural understanding and charisma enable them to interact with the most senior business lea
ders from every continent. Training and support are provided during the first few months, though GBR employees will need to be highly resourceful, independent and quick to absorb information as they evolve to become more autonomous and develop the skills necessary for a successful entrepreneur. We work in teams of two or three, so people/team skills are important for everyone to have a positive experience.
The revenue model is advertisement-based, and you will be working alongside a colleague responsible for sales, whom you will need to support.
The skills and qualities we are looking for are:
- Excellent command of English, as well as Spanish or French
- Excellent business writing, transcribing, and editing skills
- A keen interest in global affairs, politics, and business
- Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills
