Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Area: Bishopsworth

Salary: 90- 118 a day

Hours of work: 8:30-3:15 Monday- Friday

Monarch Education are recruiting for a school in Bishopsworth who are looking for individuals to take on a Behaviour Mentoring role. The school is seeking someone who is confident communicating and interacting with young people and supporting them with their social, emotional and mental health needs.

This is a large school with a good reputation for supportive senior leadership and a friendly working environment. Job Description:

  • Working with children in the classroom setting
  • Managing challenging behaviour
  • Working with students one to one
  • Acting as a positive role model to students
  • Taking an interest in and supporting the wellbeing of students

The school are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with young people, this could be as a Sports Coach, Dance Leader, Scout Leader or something similar
  • Has a positive attitude
  • Can engage children in and out of the classroom
  • Feels confident managing challenging behaviour
  • Has a can-do positive attitude
