Design and price advanced Fire Detection and Life Safety Systems that meet key industry standards, including BS5839-1 and MOJ specifications. You\’ll work with integrated systems, applying your knowledge of networking principles and using AutoCAD to deliver smart, site-specific solutions. How You Will Do It
- Develop and present Fire Detection and Life Safety solutions across multi-building locations, demonstrating strong technical design knowledge and commercial awareness.
- Review and interpret customer requirements to ensure tailored, effective solutions.
- Manage ambiguity and work to challenging deadlines with confidence and adaptability.
- Adopt new technologies and innovative approaches to enhance design outcomes.
- Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Plan and prioritise effectively to manage multiple competing demands.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and best practices.
Required
What we look for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Fire and/or Security Role
- Proficiency in and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred
- Site experience including surveying and attending design/customer meetings
- FIA Advanced Fire Design Certification
- Proficiency in AutoCad
- Knowledge of electronic security systems such as CCTV and Access Control
- Experience with 3D drawing packages such as Navisworks or Revit
- Familiarity with MOJ requirements for custodial environments
