Role Overview:
As a key member of our Retail Solutions Centre, you will support our retailers in product sample approval and the critical path to product launch.
- Take ownership of relevant responsibilities to meet business needs.
- Maintain Critical Path deadlines through supplier monitoring; issue reminders to suppliers missing deadlines.
- Check artwork against product info and provide feedback on approval or rejection.
- Review and approve technical specifications and documents.
- Ensure products are legally compliant and fit for purpose.
- Keep detailed records of communications and product status on the critical path.
- Build effective relationships with buying teams and suppliers.
- Attend retailer meetings as required, either in person or virtually via Teams.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks to support the business.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as Cosmetics, Chemistry, or Biochemistry.
- Experience with product sealing procedures.
- Understanding of critical path management and working with retailers, brands, vendors, suppliers, and factories.
- Manufacturing process knowledge and production experience in candles, diffusers, cosmetics, or detergents.
- Self-motivated, resilient, positive attitude, and proactive approach.
- Team-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to client sites across the country; pool car provided if based in Northampton.
