Job Description
Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Leiston
We’re working with an international engineering and construction firm involved in major infrastructure projects. They’re currently delivering key works at Sizewell C, and looking to hire an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team on this landmark project.
You’ll work closely with cost control, engineering, and commercial teams to support the financial and contractual delivery of the project. This includes assisting with procurement, valuations, payment applications, subcontractor management, and cost forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support tendering and cost planning activities
- Prepare and process interim payments and variations
- Monitor subcontractor performance and support dispute resolution
- Assist with final account settlements and contract compliance
- Carry out quantity take-offs and maintain cost records
What They’re Looking For
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in a QS role, ideally on civil or infrastructure projects
