Base pay range
Operating 24/7 our Drivers are at the heart of our business delivering against our promise to protect what matters in a practical way, by being involved with the safe and timely collection, movement and unloading of healthcare waste from a variety of different customers on a designated route. Being a skilled and safety conscious driver you’ll be the key point of customer contact and will play a critical role in delivering service excellence to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- You’ll have relevant driving experience and Class 2 License as well as a Full Driver CPC and Digi Card, preferably linked to an ADR certificate – packages 6.1/ 6.2
- You’ll be working independently, to facility the transportation /movement of large waste containers from various Locations to Stericycle Incinerators, Treatment Plants and Transfer Stations.
- You’ll follow, promote and communicate the use of safe working practices in line with all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Company\’s procedures.
- You’ll act as a key point of contact with our customers, completing all associated paperwork and relevant documentation via a hand-held terminal.
*Working the Morning Shift – 4am Start, 45hrs pw, 5days over 7days *
*\\*3 working weekends out of 8*
*HGV Class 2 = £14.50ph working (overtime at time and a half)*
To Succeed In This Role
- Having a flexible approach will be essential.
- You’ll demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
- You’ll adhere to all Tachograph, Driver and Road Regulations
- You’ll have the ability to undertake heavy lifting and physically demanding work, involving the safe movement of large, wheeled units on and off vehicles.
- You may also have previous experience working in a similar industry and/or in a multi drop service driving role.
