About the Role

MDE Group UK Ltd is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our clients established transport team in Magor. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for consistent weekday work with the potential to go permanent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Straightforward Class 1 curtain-sider work to RDCs
  • Possible second runs following returns to base
  • Shunting shifts available on select patterns
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
  • Ensure load security and compliance with health & safety standards

Requirements

  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 (CE) licence with a minimum of 6 months\’ experience
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Maximum 6 points on licence (no DD, DR, IN, CD, DG, UT, or TT codes)
  • Good working knowledge of drivers hours and tacho regulations
  • Strong focus on safety, load handling, and customer service
