Who will you be working with?
We are seeking an experienced Group Strategic Pricing Analyst to join our team in Barton-Under Needwood at the LH Group or Wabtec Faiveley Transportation in Birkenhead (a Division of Wabtec UK Ltd). Both sites support our customers through maintenance and operation optimisation with customised solutions for spare parts, repair, and overhaul activities on existing trains.

Salary: £Competitive
Location: Barton-Under Needwood, (DE13 8EN) – (Onsite) or Birkenhead, Wirral, Merseyside (CH41 1LF)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30pm and Friday 08:00am to 13:00pm, 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
How will you make a difference?
The successful candidates will build large offers in line with approved mandate levels, manage price lists, present KPIs to stakeholders, support the management and development of pricing tools. Ensure other existing business processes, systems and digital tools are updated and maintained.
What will your typical day look like?
- Prepare costing files and pricing recommendations for large offers.
- Maintain and update pricing tools.
- Manage price lists, apply indexation, and ensure margin compliance.
- Approve/reject engineering changes from a sales perspective.
- Handle intercompany pricing issues and ensure rule adherence.
- Countersign quotations.
- Produce weekly customer service KPIs and adjust as needed.
- Consolidate, analyse, and report data to support business decisions.
- Oversee digital catalogue pricing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Develop commercial parts catalogues to aid retention and growth.
- Recommend and implement process improvements in data management.

- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification, for example: Maths, IT, Data Science, Economics or Business Administration
- Proficient IT skills (particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Ability to efficiently organise workload.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Numerically strong
- Good communicator
