Job Description
Job Title: Instructional Designer
Location: Remote working
Type: Permanent, Full – time (37.5 hrs per week)
Velonetic represents the joint ventures between DXC Technology, the International Underwriting Association (IUA), and Lloyd’s of London. Previously referred to as the London Market Joint Ventures, we have been operating for over 20 years in the London market (Lloyd\’s and Company), in both insurance and reinsurance business. Processing over £101 billion worth of premium and claims transactions today, we are building a new digital platform and services that will enable our customers to move transactions and money through the processing lifecycle with greater efficiency and speed, releasing time to drive innovation and focus on higher value activities.
Essential Job Functions
- Participate in learning and development projects and tasks, working closely with the team
- Contribute to the design and delivery of training programs and engagement initiatives
- Create e-learning modules utilising Articulate Storyline and Rise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet learning objectives and support project teams
- Assist in the assessment of learning program effectiveness and suggest improvements
- Seek guidance from more experienced team members
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in organizational development
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and grow in the field
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role in Learning & Organizational Development
- Proven experience in creating learning programmes and resources
- Proficiency in instructional design and creating e-learning modules
- Continuous learner who is committed to following industry knowledge and technology updates
Other Qualifications
- An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
- Relevant certifications in teaching and/or learning and development
