Our client, a Global boutique active investment firm, are looking to hire a senior client portfolio manager to represent the firms\’ European public equity products.
Mission
The European equity team is seeking a client portfolio manager to support sales teams in their client interactions and to broaden firms\’ communication on the European public equity funds.
The client portfolio manager should have an excellent understanding of European equity financials markets to communicate on these specific strategies and be able to write clear, synthetic and aesthetic presentations and marketing materials.
Responsibilities:
Directly reporting to the Head of European Equities, the core tasks are the following :
1/ Develop with lead portfolio manager relevant marketing contents about the European equity funds
- Deal with all communication and sales support related to the investment fund range
- Deliver an effective and high-quality marketing material, monitor and expand the available documentation
2/ Liaise with PM and sales team
- Act as an internal contact point for all requests for information on European equity investment strategies
- Update the funds marketing collateral in liaison with the marketing department.
- Provide an in-depth knowledge to the firms\’ sales of the technical aspects of the fund range and investment processes, performances, comparison with peers, etc.
- Work closely together with the other business units involved in fund and portfolio management (Risk, Performance Attribution, Financial Engineering, Legal, …).
- Respond to client questions and adāhoc requests (special reports, RFP).
3/ Assume key interface role with fundsā clients and actively participate in the recognition of the business unit expertise
- Give presentations and share information sessions on the firms\’ products and know-how
- Represent portfolio manager when needed in conference calls and client meetings.
4/Participate in the innovation and market intelligence
- Participate in elaboration, analysis and update of peer groups
- Maintain involvement in new product launches through support and idea generation
5/ Improve the visibility of the firms\’ European equity strategy in the media
- Leverage on existing thought leadership content produced by the team
- Establish a mapping of current and desired media presence in collaboration with the firms\’ communication team in order to broaden the footprint of the European equities strategies press coverage
Profile
– Client oriented (open and transparent communication, ability to create a partnership, trustābased relations)
– Excellent excel and power point skills are essential, analytical mind, enterprising, creative, with a strong interest in financial markets
– Previous experience in a similar role within a reputable buy-side investment fund is essential
– Team spirit, flexible and open to change / evolution
– Resistance to stress, structured and methodical
– Master Degree in Marketing or Finance
– English, spoken and written
