Tasks
You’ll be a senior member of our Heat Pump Installation team and will be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of air source heat pumps in your area. You’ll provide support to engineers carrying out installs and manage multiple jobs on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee installations and provide input and direction as required
- Collaborate with engineers andelectricians to commission and sign off on installs
- Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service
- Onboard and vet new teams in your area to grow the business to the next level
- Manage the day to day with a mix of on site and at home work
- Take responsibility for the installs in your area and get the most out of your teams
Requirements
You’ll be an experienced heat pump engineer with knowledge of heating system design and the ability to fault find. You’ll also have domestic hot & cold water system knowledge as well as strong managerial and problem solving qualities
- You have significant prior experience installing heat pumps (3+ years)
- Prior experience managing teams of plumbers/engineers and electricians
- You’ll know the requirements to install, commission,handover, and maintain air source heat pump systems
- You’ll have a natural ability for problem solving and a can do attitude to getting top quality installs over the line and on time
Qualifications:
- Minimum NVQ level 2 (or equivalent experience) within the Plumbing and Heating pathway
- WRAS Water Supply Regs
- G3 Unvented
- Valid driver\’s license with 6 points or less
It would be great if you had some of the below too
- BPEC L3 or equivalent in heat pump installation
- FGas
- Gas safe
